Scott Ross, MD
Born and raised in Pennsylvania, Scott Ross, MD, received a Bachelor of Science in biology at Georgetown University in Washington, D.C.. He remained at Georgetown University to complete his medical degree and went on to complete a family practice residency at Fairfax Family Practice. Dr. Ross joined Novant Health Bull Run Family Medicine in 1998.
Dr. Ross is the team physician for Osbourn Park High School, and has a special fondness in his own life for sports. Dr. Ross is married with two children.
Kari Blereau, NP
Higher education led Kari Blereau across the country, first earning a Bachelor of Nursing from California State University, Fresno, and then a Master of Science in Nursing from Austin Peay State University in Clarksville, Tennessee. "After some great experiences elsewhere, I am so happy to have found a home here at Novant Health Bull Run Family Medicine," Kari said. "I consider it a privilege to serve the northern Virginia population."
Here, Kari sees patients of all ages. "I enjoy getting to know not just my individual patients by their families and the community as a whole," she said. "I believe the role of a primary care provider allows me to be a great influence on my patients' lives, and I take that responsibility seriously."
Kari enjoys using the relationships she develops to help her patients stay well. "I see the power of preventive medicine and will do whatever I can to help my patients lead healthier lives," she explained. "I also have a big interest in women's health. I enjoy seeing women of all ages and getting to know them through life's stages."
Kari is married and has one son. Together with her family, Kari enjoys spending time outdoors and staying active.
